Job Description: Why you and why us?

We are looking for smart, friendly people who genuinely care about providing seamless assistance to British nationals living in France, helping them to successfully submit their online application for a French residency permit. Agents are fully trained in taking calls and answering emails from British nationals.

 
Essential Functions: The nuts and bolts

Listen carefully and identify the British Nationals’ questions and concerns regarding their application for a French residency permit

Provide information relating to the procedure for the residency permit online application and the criteria set out by the French government

Identify actions to be taken by British Nationals to prepare the submission of their residency permit application

Analyse the problems faced by British Nationals which prevent them from submitting their application for a residency permit and review solutions

Build a positive rapport with people from different walks of life

Ensure consistent and high-quality ownership of each contact

Emphasize our assistance to British Nationals: because we care


Qualifications: What you need to apply

Registered as a “micro-entreprise” in France (up-to-date documentation will be requested)

Previous customer service experience, ideally in a performance-based environment

Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with capable data entry skills

Effective problem-solving ability

Important Facts: must have these for consideration

Available to work 25 hours / week, 1 shift per day, adapting to different working hours

This position is associated with 2 shifts of 5 hours: 8h to 13h and 14h to 19h

Savvy with technology

Must have a computer with high internet speed

Who we are:  the Franco British Network

We are the Franco British Network (FBN), a small and young not-for-profit association, based in the Dordogne. We have been given a funding grant by the UK Government to support the British Nationals of the Dordogne to apply for residency.
